Congo Square’s 25th Anniversary celebrations continue! Join @congosquarechi and @broadwayinchicago for the Chicago premiere of August Wilson’s autobiographical show, HOW I LEARNED WHAT I LEARNED.
This one-man show follows Wilson’s journey as a young Black writer from Pittsburgh to one of the most celebrated American playwrights of the 20th century.
Directed by Ken-Matt Martin and featuring Chicago’s own Harry Lennix, this limited engagement will run from April 20 – May 5, 2024 at Broadway In Chicago’s Broadway Playhouse at Water Tower Place (175 E. Chestnut St).
