Call for 10-Minute Play Submissions

Congo Square Theatre Company is proud to announce our call for play submissions for consideration in our 10-Minute Play Festival, as part of our upcoming Festival on the Square. The competition is seeking submissions specifically from playwrights who identify as Black or of the African Diaspora.

Submitted works will fall into two categories:

  • Professional + Emerging Playwrights

  • Young Playwrights (must be enrolled in a college program)

Selected works will be produced, directed, and performed by members of the Congo Square Ensemble at our upcoming Festival on the Square.
